Great ambiance, the service was good. Everyone was friendly and attentive. They did forget to bring out my meal (hence the 4 stars) But once it was brought to their attention they got it out quick. I was happy to see the oyako don on the menu! One of my favorite childhood meals my grandma and mom would make me. It was pretty good! My husband enjoyed the sushi rolls he ordered. There's a large selection to choose from. The presentation of their meals reminded me of being back in Japan. Definitely going back! This place gets busy. So prepare to have a wait. Definitely worth it!

Dined here since they 1st opened in 2020. While most were closing their restaurants due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these brave chefs went with their hearts and produced a show stopper!! Transplanted chefs and staff from Cali, KIZUNA is known for their Japanese bento combinations (miso butterfish, karage chicken, tempura, grilled salmon, Teri beef) FRESH Oysters with Yuzu and tobiko, and FRESH nigiri sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls!! They have various domestic and specialty beers, sake, and an exceptional citrus Yuzu Choya wine. You like boats? Well I also must say the boats here, the specialty Sushi Boats, are beautifully crafted and priced so that you leave feeling happy, full in tummy, WITH money in your pockets !! So onolicious! Note...due to its success and long wait times to dine on weekends, they will be opening up a new location soon in Aikahi Shopping Center across from Aikahi Business Plaza and Nico's Kailua. Happy New Year Kizuna!! Wishes for more success!

Had a the Osaka and Friday sushi rolls, and oyako don; all were delicious. There was a 40 minute wait to get seated then the food took a very long time and they brought out the wrong order initially so we waited even longer, but I'm assuming that's not the norm. They had a good selection of food and reasonably priced keiki meals so we'll bring the kids next time. Overall, I decided to yelp this place to remind myself to come back because it's my new "go to" sushi spot.

We stopped at Ruby Tuesday's in the mall and young man at the front desk said it was a "45 minute wait!!" We requested to sit in the booth by the bar. There were only 3 couples seated at the booth bar & 3 other people seated at the bar side. This is the 2nd time we experienced this!!! Called Kizuna, Mindy and they were able to in take us within 20 minutes!!! Excellent Excellent service by Mindy, Jason, Yong our waiter. The sushi Master, Andy & Mindy's husband (sorry I forgot his name) in the kitchen!!! Thank you Kizuna for "ALWAYS" being there for us after a loooong day at work Beyond "FIVE STAR RESTAURANT" that has a process down to service their customers Thank you very much!!!

Lot of hype about this place so we made the drive from Mililani just to have dinner there. Yes it was worth it! Got there early around 4:45pm, being they open at 4:30pm for dinner and the restaurant was roughly 1/3 full already. Nice clean ambiance, service was good, servers are very helpful and explained to us what are the "Go to" dishes there. Great Karaage chicken, Teishoku dishes featured generous portions with very tender steak and chicken. We also opted for the Ruby Roll, Golden Lobster Roll and California Roll with 100% contentment! Also reservations are NOT taken Friday through Sunday.

Found this amazing Japanese Restaurant in Kane'ohe next to Times Supermarket just behind the Fire Station, a few months ago! As soon as you enter they try to seat right away. If there isn't anything available right then you'd only have to wait a few minutes and you'd be seated! Not a very long wait at all! When you are sat, they drop your menu and immediately bring you a cup of water and then give you a few minutes to look over the menu. Once you are ready to order they promptly arrive at your table to take your order! During this visit (as we have visited this restaurant a few times since) my Aunty ordered Bento Box Combo with Tonkatsu and Chicken Karaage and I ordered the Teppanyaki Combo Plate with Steak and Lobster. As you can see by our pictures, we are both smiling because our dishes were awesome, great tasting with lots of flavor and pretty large portions! As noted, service is fast and efficient; quick to seat you, quick to take your order and quick to prepare and serve your order and when you receive your order it is prepared with a high level of quality to the authenticity of the dishes presentation and flavors! I also noticed that the lunch crowd is very different from the dinner crowd where the lunch crowd is more Kupuna driven gatherings with family and business individuals coming in for a quick bite of sushi while the dinner crowd is more the professional pau hana crowd with a bunch of friends ordering large numbers of sushi and drinks. Overall, I give Kizuna Japanese Sushi and Grill my personal 5-Shaka Rating!

This is my 2nd review, and this restaurant just gets better and better. They have lunch till 3pm, and if you can make it, it's less busy and lunch menu is priced less expensive. But when they open at 4pm, it's the Japanese Haliewa Joe's! And no matter how busy they are, the cute hostesses greet you with a smile! Kizunas took over a cross fit gym, and remodeled it during covid when restaurants were scared of closing. They did take out orders only during Covid and kept it going. Fast forward, I hear that they are opening up a new Kizuna's inp Kailua at the Aikahi shopping center at the old Gyotaku . Hopefully this will make our Kaneohe location less busy! LOL just wanted to post pictures, enjoy!
